Dmitry Loschinin, COP
President and CEO

Dmitry A. Loschinin has led Luxoft from its inception in April 2000. With over 20 years of IT experience Dmitry has built a superior team of professionals and has brought Luxoft to the vanguard of global IT outsourcing.
Under Dmitry’s stewardship Luxoft has enjoyed exponential growth and has become a global IT outsourcing leader with a loyal client base that includes some of the world’s most successful companies.
Dmitry started his professional career as a software engineer in the late 1980s. In a short period of time he achieved management roles within leading multinationals such as KED GmbH, MCP GmbH and IBM. In 1998 Dmitry joined the IBS Group where he successfully established SAP R/3 implementation practice before taking charge of the IBS initiative to offer offshore software services. This initiative eventually became Luxoft.
Recognized expert on the issues of global outsourcing, Dmitry is a Certified Outsourcing Professional® (COP) and is a member of the Outsourcing Hall of Fame, one of the most prestigious industry recognitions, presented by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP).
Dmitry holds a Master of Science degree from the Moscow State University and completed an executive education program at Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA.
Michael Friedland
Executive Vice President
Michael Friedland oversees the company business performance, execution of corporate sales and is in charge of Financial, Enterprise and Domestic lines of business.
Michael has more than 17 years of extensive hands-on IT experience in the software services business. In 1993, Michael became a co-founder of IT Consulting International (ITCI) having evolved from a software programmer into a successful entrepreneur and IT executive. Providing development, support, and managing projects for such companies as Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, SIAC and Merck/Medco, Michael has gained a keen insight into the enterprise IT, software development best practices and business knowledge. While in ITCI, he conceived and conceptualized development of LUXproject™, a Web-based solution for distributed development and project management, providing multiple advantages to Luxoft clients.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences and a Master's degree in Management Administration from Academy of International Business Studies, Moscow, Russia.
Vasiliy Suvorov
VP Technology Strategy
Vasiliy Suvorov serves as VP Technology Strategy at Luxoft where his role is to define and drive company technology strategy across its key Lines of Business. Vasily has over 15 years of software and systems development experience. Throughout his professional career he has held leading technical and management positions in international telecom and hi-tech companies, where he was responsible for defining technical strategy, designing and implementing real-time and mission-critical software systems. He actively participates in international conferences and technology alliances helping companies realize business benefits from emerging technologies.
Born in Moscow, Russia, Vasily holds Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from MIT Sloan school of Management. He studied at Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology focusing on computer science and mathematics.
Roman Yakushkin
Chief Financial Officer
As Luxoft’s Chief Financial Officer, Roman oversees all company finance, accounting and administrative issues.
Roman's experience includes positions with leading Russian enterprises and western companies, including Louis Dreyfus in Moscow and FESCO.
Prior to Luxoft Roman served as Director of Finance with Mobile TeleSystems Far Eastern division, where he spearheaded implementation of a company-integrated finance structure. He was responsible for corporate reporting, finance planning and analysis, investment analysis, procurement, Russian tax accounting, treasury and HR management.
Roman graduated with honors from the Far Eastern State University and holds Chartered Financial Analyst Designation (CFA) and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from INSEAD.
Eugene Dmitriev
Chief Operating Officer
As Luxoft's Chief Operating Officer, Eugene V. Dmitriev heads company's delivery organization and is responsible for developing and managing the Company Delivery Performance and Quality, development of new delivery centers, niche practices and services. He is also in charge of implementing Company's regional expansion strategy in the area of delivery function.
Before joining Luxoft, Eugene worked at IBS from 1995 till 2000 as executive director of the software solutions division responsible for developing custom software applications. Prior to IBS, Eugene was among the team of programmers who developed LIXICON, the first and in its day the most popular Russian language text editor.
Eugene Dmitriev graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
Elena Goryunova
VP Global Human Resources
Elena Goryunova has been leading Luxoft's Human Resources department since the company's inception in 2000.
While at Luxoft, Elena has developed a unique personnel selection and integration system that has enabled the company to grow ten times over the past five years. During this rapid expansion Elena also played an instrumental role in the opening of numerous offices in the Russian cities of St. Petersburg, Omsk, Dubna, and Nizhny Novgorod. The personnel management system that Elena introduced and implemented is modeled after the best practices employed by the most successful western companies.
Elena started her career in 1994 as HR specialist within the world leading consulting and audit company, KPMG. During 4 years of work within the Company she made impressive career progress being involved in all HR practices. In 1997 Elena joined Austrian Investment Bank Creditanstalt as the Head of HR department where she was responsible for implementing best HR practices, recruiting, training personnel and translating Core Corporate Values.
Elena Goryunova graduated from Moscow Academy of International Business with a degree in Economics.
Dmitry Kushnir
Managing Director, Luxoft Ukraine
Dmitry Kushnir has led Luxoft Ukraine since September 2006. Dmitry has 7+ years experience of holding senior management positions with the IT companies in Ukraine and the USA. His professionalism combined with deep knowledge of the Ukrainian IT market contributed substantially to Luxoft’s expansion in the region.
Dmitry started his career in 1999 in the US as a project manager in Brick-and-Mortar.com. In 2001 he moved to Kiev where he got a challenging opportunity to launch a Ukrainian start up – CINTECH, which is now successfully operating. During 2005 – 2006 Dmitry held executive position at USC (United Software Corp.).
Dmitry graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and undertook an executive education program in Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, USA.
Doru Mardare
Managing Director, Luxoft Romania
Doru Mardare has more than 15 years of experience in software engineering business for the telecommunications industry. He founded ITC Networks in 2000 with 20 engineers, and in eight years brought the company to the leading position in software development arena in Eastern Europe.
As a Managing Director of ITC Networks, Doru relied on his R&D experience and entrepreneurial talent to attract and retain as customers some of the telecom blue-chip companies - Nortel Networks, Avaya, and Trapeze Networks.
Doru holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute in Bucharest, Romania, and a Master of Engineering Science from the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada.
Cuong La Manh
Managing Director, Luxoft Vietnam
Cuong La Manh leads Luxoft Vietnam since its launch in spring 2008. Cuong has more than 14 years of experience working in the technology and software industry. His deep knowledge of domestic as well as international markets supported by strong hands-on managerial experience greatly contributed to the successful startup of the company in the region.
Cuong’s working experience includes major Vietnamese and International companies such as Fujitsu Computer Products of Vietnam, a subsidiary of Fujitsu Corp, Saigon Sky Garden Co., Petrosin InfoTech and Vietnam e-Solution Co.
Cuong holds an Engineer Degree from HCMC University of Agriculture and Forestry and has accomplished a number of various business courses in Software Engineering and Management.
Mikhail Bykov
Managing Director, Manufacturing and Enterprise Solutions
Mikhail Bykov is Managing Director of Luxoft’s Manufacturing and Enterprise Solutions line of business. In this role, he is responsible for managing company’s operations in this area, including leading the sales and support of Luxoft’s offerings to manufacturing industry.
Mikhail started his career as a software engineer, holding various technical and managerial positions in software development industry. He joined Luxoft in 2004 as a project manager, responsible for managing challenging projects for Boeing Development Center. Later, he was appointed head of Project Services Group, which delivered software development projects for customers across various industries with distributed development teams. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director of Manufacturing and Enterprise solutions practice, Mikhail created Luxoft’s Technology Office, which he headed for two years.
Mikhail Bykov holds a PhD in Computer Science from Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology, specializing in web component-based platforms architecture.
Yuri Elkin
Managing Director, Financial Services
Yuri Elkin is Managing Director of Luxoft’s Financial Services practice. In this role, he is responsible for managing and growing company’s global financial services’ accounts, business planning and development of domain-specific technology expertise within the practice.
Yuri has more than twelve years of technology experience. Prior to Luxoft, he worked in IT department of one of the largest Russian telecom company. When Luxoft was established in 2000 he joined the Company together with a team of other professionals. Joining the company as a leading software developer, Yuri soon was managing one of the largest projects for the key customer, Boeing. Yuri was appointed head of Luxoft’s engagement with Deutsche bank, leading the account to significant growth and making foundation of Luxoft’s Financial Services practice.
Yuri holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics, where he graduated summa cum laude.
Michael Minkevich
VP Technology Services
As Vice President of Technology Services Michael Minkevich is responsible for running Product Engineering business unit that hosts several technology focused practices including Computer Software, Telecommunications, Energy & Utilities, Automotive and others.
Michael has more than 12 years of intensive hands-on experience in the IT industry. He joined Luxoft in 2003 and since then has been instrumental in making Luxoft a recognized global player in the product development area. Before Luxoft, he held executive positions with several international software and hi-tech companies including Novosoft and StarForce Technologies.
Michael holds a Master of Computer Science degree from Novosibirsk State Technical University.
