Eugene V. Dmitriev has held the position of Vice President of Software Engineering Luxoft since the company’s inception in 2000. The company's highly effective software development infrastructure, certified ISO 9001:2000 and assessed at CMMI Level 5, is largely the result of Eugene’s knowledge, experience, management skills, and ability to motivate others.
Eugene joined IBS in 1995 as executive director of the software solutions division responsible for developing custom software applications. Under Eugene’s management major clients such as Yukos Oil, LUKoil, Gazprom, Mezhregiongaz obtained key solutions supporting core business processes. At IBS Eugene supervised complex and demanding projects such as the construction of a global information system for Russia's State Land Committee.
Prior to IBS Eugene was among the team of programmers who developed LEXICON, the first and in its day the most popular Russian language text editor.
Eugene Dmitriev graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
