Customer Advisory Board - 2003

In January 2003 Luxoft held the first meeting of Customer Advisory Board. The meeting took place at the Moscow Sports Club. Representatives of world leading companies such as Boeing, IBM, Dell, Citibank, Ernst & Young, the United States Industry Coalition, Aberdeen Group, all Luxoft clients and partners, came to Russia to participate in the event.

The first Customer Advisory Board meeting focused on what was then Luxoft’s new, world market business strategy. Luxoft presented a technology development plan with considerable investments for R&D for soft computing, biometrics and simulation modeling. CAB members agreed it would be useful to all if Luxoft concentrated on the further development of its industry domain expertise in such sectors as IT, finance, aerospace, manufacturing and the federal sector. Additionally, participants concurred that Luxoft should support the ever increasing technological demands of its clients and the company’s need to continue to actively develop two models of partnership - the creation of joint service offerings and the pursuit of strategic value in cooperation.

Today, both Luxoft and our customers can look back and understand how all CAB participants benefited from the decisions made together in January 2003.
