Customer Advisory Board - 2005

Luxoft held its 2005 Customer Advisory Board (CAB) meeting in the historic eastern European city of Kiev, Ukraine.  The company brought its clients to Kiev for both the city’s ancient beauty and the desire to demonstrate the immense business opportunities that countries bordering Russia have to offer. The 2005 CAB, in holding with tradition, brings participants an agenda filled with both work and fun.

On the business side, Luxoft started a meeting by presenting its guests with an overview of the company’s achievements since its founding five years ago, specific accomplishments in the past year, and strategic, long-term business development plans.  Luxoft also proudly announced the opening of a development center in Kiev and outlined the benefits the company’s fifth development center and its location brings to both Luxoft and company clients. In addition, the CAB members were presented with an in-depth analysis of Luxoft’s human resources practices and reviewed the progress of St. Petersburg Development Center, which was opened a year ago.

As listening to what CAB members think about working with Luxoft and getting their advice for improvements are central to every CAB meeting, the second half of our business program was focused on clients input. Specifically, Luxoft asked both its new and more “seasoned‿ clients to provide their feedback on things where Luxoft excelled and differentiated itself from others, the things where Luxoft could improve, and the top outsourcing issues that caused our clients the most concerns or difficulties. Luxoft highly appreciates the feedback and constructive criticism it received.  We take this input very seriously, including CAB recommendations on Luxoft’s differentiation strategy and growth management tactics.

The  business agenda was followed with cultural enrichment, fun, and entertainment, including a visit to ancient churches, Ukrainian open air historic museum, a boat cruise down the Dnepr River, and festive meals in Kiev restaurants with beautiful folklore art and a national Ukrainian cuisine.
