Customer Advisory Board 2009

Luxoft held its Customer Advisory Board 2009 (CAB) in the fashionable and artsy SoHo area of Manhattan, New York. Representatives from many of Luxoft’s clients attended the 2009 CAB, including Deutsche Bank, Hotwire, Boeing, and may others. Included in this year’s CAB was a key-note presentation from Frances Karamouzis, research vice president at Gartner, which included information on the latest market trends in outsourcing, as well as information about priority shifts since the recession and outsourcing destination trends.

Following Gartner’s key-note, Luxoft delivered an update on company’s progress over the past year as well as goals and priorities for the year to come. Special attention was given to service portfolio and business practice development within the company as well as to Luxoft’s technological leadership. As listening to client’s feedback and advice on possible improvements are central to every CAB meeting, the final part of CAB was dedicated to Luxoft’s clients input. The interactive session, led by Frances Karamouzis, focused on identifying the most important aspects of client-vendor relationship in today’s environment. Participants were divided into groups and presented with a list of service provider criteria (e.g. price, technical and industry skills, cultural fit, etc.). Each group was asked to rank these areas in order of importance. Clients were then asked if they could foresee any changes in ranking over the next year. CAB 2009 did include some fun as well, with a twilight cruise around Manhattan aboard a private yacht and a festive dinner.
