Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Luxoft develops and maintains an extensive suite of aerospace industry PLM products, which enable authoring, extraction, distribution, and long-term retention of massive amounts of engineering information while complying with the strict security regulations. The PLM products suite has the following functionality:
- supports a variety of 2D and 3D data formats (native CATIA, U3D, U3D in PDF, RH, STEP AP203E1, TIFF, 2D PDF, etc.) with various levels of information fidelity;
- formats translation (including different versions of CATIA);
- provides flexible engineering design workflow;
- allows exponential growth of the retained information amount;
- provides digital storage for at least 50-year timeframe;
- enables vendor-neutral data access;
- tracks information history and usage;

Data Distribution System Development
The PLM systems suite is organized as a set of services with transparent interfaces, which allows rapid integration of partner systems and various digital data repositories (ENOVIA, PDM, DELMIA).
Luxoft experience covers re-design of the production-critical PLM products from legacy mainframe technology to modern platforms, such as J2EE and Web Services, integration of the isolated products into one system, and extensive product maintenance with functionality enhancements.

Data Authorization System Development
Computer Aided Engineering (CAE)
Luxoft has developed the variety of CAE systems, which support aerospace engineering design and manufacturing. The systems manage production life cycle of the engineering data, repurposing of 3D models in manufacturing and support documentation, calculation and analysis of the complicated engineering algorithms.
Luxoft experience covers both re-engineering of the existing large CAE products and development of new products as per clients’ specific requirements. CAE products developed by Luxoft provide design and analysis support; design and manufacturing data repository, workflow, configuration control, and history track; interaction with external systems (e.g. providing CATIA with wire bundle assembly data and getting mock-up data in response); convenient, security-enabled navigation and search through the engineering data.
Interior Planning
Luxoft designs and maintains highly efficient systems for aircraft interior planning. The systems provide visual interior design while maintaining compliance with the strictest aerospace standards and regulations.
The solutions developed by Luxoft automate 2D visual design of the aircraft interior elements, standard and customer-specific color and materials décor authoring, tally functions to calculate seats configuration, commodities list maintenance, authoring and review workflow. The systems allow access to the interior data to the client’s suppliers and external systems with advanced security tracking.
Flight Planning
Luxoft has the wealth of experience in development and re-design of flight planning and analysis systems. The systems assist in flight planning, flight handling, aeronautical navigation charting, pilot briefing, and weather briefing.
Luxoft solutions support aviation maps calculations and analysis, including building of runway flight courses for any airport or aircraft, selecting of optimal routes based on variety of required and current parameters, integration with Geographical Information Systems (GIS), hand-on access to the flight data and statistics suited for regulations compliance and usability requirements.

Content Management
Luxoft develops and maintains production-critical content management products for aerospace industry. The products support authoring, reviewing, revising, publishing, and distributing of the documentation and provide access to the content in e-Commerce B2B catalog format.
Content management solutions created by Luxoft automate XML/SGML authoring, incremental PDF updates for large document revisions, complicated PDF formatting, product design and standards repositories with specific search and distribution abilities, on-line assembly of the well-formed documents based on various information fragments stored in the repository.
