In-car communication
People today want comfort and easy access to information and entertainment. This is why new cars are being fitted with a variety of gadgets: wireless displays and remote TV adapters, PDA devices and smartphones, game consoles and laptops. Users want the devices to provide information, entertainment, and navigation capabilities in a multimedia environment.
But how can you effectively link these different devices together?
Luxoft knows and is able to help you! Luxoft now offers Mobile Infotainment Protocol for Remote Accessories Communication (MIPRAC).
MIPRAC connects your wireless devices together to a main host device (Head Unit or Gateway) in order to integrate it into your vehicle’s multimedia system. Your devices then operate in a HS CAN or MOST ring network and can communicate with your car’s speakers, telephone system, AM/FM tuner, amplifier, and other devices (depending on your car’s multimedia capabilities).
Luxoft’s MIPRAC makes the communication between the host device and remote accessories possible. This protocol works over almost any type of wireless network and provides a uniform method to connect remote accessories with a host device.
