President and Chief Executive Officer

Dmitry A. Loschinin has led Luxoft from its inception in April 2000. With over 20 years of IT experience Dmitry has built a superior team of professionals and has brought Luxoft to the vanguard of global IT outsourcing.

Under Dmitry’s stewardship Luxoft has enjoyed exponential growth and has become a global IT outsourcing leader with a loyal client base that includes some of the world’s most successful companies.

Dmitry started his professional career as a software engineer in the late 1980s. In a short period of time he achieved management roles within leading multinationals such as KED GmbH, MCP GmbH and IBM. In 1998 Dmitry joined the IBS Group where he successfully established SAP R/3 implementation practice before taking charge of the IBS initiative to offer offshore software services. This initiative eventually became Luxoft.

Recognized expert on the issues of global outsourcing, Dmitry is a Certified Outsourcing Professional® (COP) and is a member of the Outsourcing Hall of Fame, one of the most prestigious industry recognitions, presented by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP).

Dmitry holds a Master of Science degree from the Moscow State University and completed an executive education program at Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA.

Executive Vice President

Michael Friedland oversees the company business performance, execution of corporate sales and is in charge of Financial, Enterprise and Domestic lines of business.

Michael has more than 17 years of extensive hands-on IT experience in the software services business. In 1993, Michael became a co-founder of IT Consulting International (ITCI) having evolved from a software programmer into a successful entrepreneur and IT executive. Providing development, support, and managing projects for such companies as Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, SIAC and Merck/Medco, Michael has gained a keen insight into the enterprise IT, software development best practices and business knowledge. While in ITCI, he conceived and conceptualized development of LUXproject™, a Web-based solution for distributed development and project management, providing multiple advantages to Luxoft clients.

As Chief Financial Officer, Roman Yakushkin covers global financial, planning and accounting issues of Luxoft. His responsibilities include corporate finance, treasury, financial and management accounting, corporate planning and budgeting, investment analysis, tax accounting, auditing and controlling. He also oversees accounting by local standards in all Luxoft offices and is responsible for the corporate structuring.

Roman joined Luxoft in 2006 and is based in Zug. He has over fifteen years of experience in financial sector. Prior to Luxoft he has held several senior financial positions with a number of leading companies. His experience includes the positions with MTS (Mobile Telesystems), FESCO and Louis Dreyfus.

Roman holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree from INSEAD. He is also a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charter holder. He received his university degree in Oriental Studies from the Far Eastern State University.

Elena Goryunova has been leading Luxoft's Human Resources department since the company's inception in 2000.

While at Luxoft, Elena has developed a unique personnel selection and integration system that has enabled the company to grow ten times over the past five years. During this rapid expansion Elena also played an instrumental role in the opening of numerous offices in the Russian cities of St. Petersburg, Omsk, Dubna, and Nizhny Novgorod. The personnel management system that Elena introduced and implemented is modeled after the best practices employed by the most successful western companies.

Elena started her career in 1994 as HR specialist within the world leading consulting and audit company, KPMG. Przemyslaw Berendt joined Luxoft as Managing Director for Poland in August 2012, and has served as our Vice President for Global Marketing since April 2011. Mr. Berendt is responsible for the overall marketing strategy of Luxoft.

Prior to joining us, Mr. Berendt served in the Global Business Services division of Procter & Gamble, and as a Branch Manager of Betware a mid-size, international software development company.

Przemek holds an Master of Science degree in Computer Science from DePaul University in Chicago, IL, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Science from School of Business-National Louis University in Poland, and an Associate Degree in Programming from Blackhawk Technical College in the U.S.

Przemyslaw Berendt joined Luxoft as Managing Director for Poland in August 2012, and has served as our Vice President for Global Marketing since April 2011. Mr. Berendt is responsible for the overall marketing strategy of Luxoft.

Prior to joining us, Mr. Berendt served in the Global Business Services division of Procter & Gamble, and as a Branch Manager of Betware a mid-size, international software development company.

Przemek holds an Master of Science degree in Computer Science from DePaul University in Chicago, IL, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Science from School of Business-National Louis University in Poland, and an Associate Degree in Programming from Blackhawk Technical College in the U.S.

Alina Plaia, VP Global Communications

VP Global Communications

As Vice President, Global Communications Alina Plaia oversees corporate-focused external communications functions and acts as the Company's spokesperson.

Ms. Plaia is a seasoned investment banking professional with 16 years of experience in accounting, finance, and capital markets. She started her career at Credit Suisse First Boston, followed by Deloitte & Touche LLP, and Societe Generale. Ms. Plaia’s experience includes 6 years as a Director of Emerging Markets Research Sales in Markets and Investment Banking division of UniCredit (and its predecessor Aton Capital) in New York, where she liaised with major U.S. asset managers. During her career at UniCredit/Aton Ms. Plaia covered and helped raise over $1Bn in equity capital (public/private/PIPEs) for corporate clients. She has joined the Luxoft team after working as a U.S. Investor Relations for IBS Group, the parent Company of Luxoft.

Alina holds a graduate degree in Finance from Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, CPA license, and FINRA Ser. 7, 79, and 63. Ms. Plaia is a member New York Advisory Board of Best Buddies, a Kennedy-Shriver charity that creates partnerships and opportunities for people with intellectual and learning disabilities.

Dmitry Kushnir has led Luxoft Ukraine since September 2006. Dmitry has 7+ years experience of holding senior management positions with the IT companies in Ukraine and the USA. His professionalism combined with deep knowledge of the Ukrainian IT market contributed substantially to Luxoft’s expansion in the region.

Dmitry started his career in 1999 in the US as a project manager in Brick-and-Mortar.com. In 2001 he moved to Kiev where he got a challenging opportunity to launch a Ukrainian start up – CINTECH, which is now successfully operating. During 2005 – 2006 Dmitry held executive position at USC (United Software Corp.).

Dmitry graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and undertook an executive education program in Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, USA.

Vasiliy Suvorov serves as VP Technology Strategy at Luxoft where his role is to define and drive company technology strategy across its key Lines of Business. Vasily has over 15 years of software and systems development experience. Throughout his professional career he has held leading technical and management positions in international telecom and hi-tech companies, where he was responsible for defining technical strategy, designing and implementing real-time and mission-critical software systems. He actively participates in international conferences and technology alliances helping companies realize business benefits from emerging technologies.

Born in Moscow, Russia, Vasily holds Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from MIT Sloan school of Management. He studied at Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology focusing on computer science and mathematics.

As Managing Director of Luxoft’s Financial Services Practice, Yuri Elkin is responsible for managing and growing Luxoft’s Global Financial Services Accounts. He is an active leader in the strategic business planning and the development of domain-specific technology expertise within the Financial Practice.

Yuri brings to Luxoft more than twelve years of technology experience. Prior to Luxoft, he worked in the IT Department of one of the largest Russian telecom companies. Yuri joined Luxoft in its early years in 2000, together with a team of other IT professionals. He began as a leading software developer. Yuri soon found himself managing one of Luxoft’s largest projects for its key customer , Boeing. From there Yuri was appointed head of Luxoft’s engagement with Deutsche Bank. Yuri’s leading of the Deutsche Bank account has driven significant growth and laid the foundation for Luxoft’s Financial Services Practice.

Yuri holds a Master of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics from Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics, where he graduated summa cum laude.

Roman Trakhtenberg has joined Luxoft in 2009 as Financial Services Accounts Director, and has served as CEO of Luxoft North America since March, 2011. Roman is now responsible for business development, maintaining relationships with key customers and developing strategic partnerships within North America.

Mr. Trakhtenberg has more than 15 years of technology experience, and has managed global organizations with more than 500 employees in the financial services, consumer and real estate sectors. Prior to joining Luxoft, Roman served as Chief Operational Officer at SMINEX LLC and as Vice President of Operations at Rosbuilding Investment company, both Russian private equity firms. Mr. Trakhtenberg has also held management positions at companied including Republic National Bank of New York, Gateaway Inc., and Deutsche Bank AIG.

Roman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southern State University.

Having joined in 2005, Jeremy was appointed joint CEO of Excelian in 2010 and sole CEO in 2012. He is responsible for all aspects of the business, including project delivery, client development, service evolution, staff engagement and corporate profitability.

An experienced IT Director, Jeremy has over 20 years’ experience working in numerous investment banks including Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, UFJI and Tokai Bank Europe where he ran departments, projects and programmes which have involved everything from derivative system implementations to mergers and acquisitions.

Jeremy holds a MBA degree with Distinction from the Ashridge Business School and BA in Philosophy from Sheffield University. He is a Certified Prince 2 Project Management Registered Practitioner and SFA Bonds and Fixed Interest, SFA Registered Representative.

Anders is the Managing Director, Centers of Expertise at Luxoft. Anders joined Luxoft from Radius Inc., a Seattle-based Internet of Things technology consulting company co-founded by Mr. Brown and acquired by Luxoft in 2014. Anders has over 20 years of experience in enterprise technology projects, including seven years at Microsoft primarily in marketing, planning and business strategy roles.

Previous to Radius, Anders worked at a global technology consulting company helping Fortune 500 companies advance their business goals. Anders holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington. His research focused primarily on control theory of complex mechanical and electrical systems.

Anders is the Managing Director, Centers of Expertise at Luxoft. Anders joined Luxoft from Radius Inc., a Seattle-based Internet of Things technology consulting company co-founded by Mr. Brown and acquired by Luxoft in 2014. Lincoln is Managing Director of Global Sales at Luxoft and also is responsible for North America operations. Lincoln joined Luxoft as a result of Luxoft acquiring Radius, an Internet of Things technology company Lincoln co-owned.

Lincoln has over 18 years of experience in enterprise scale information systems projects including six years at Microsoft primarily in the Information Technology Group. While at Microsoft, Lincoln was responsible for line-of-business solutions serving Microsoft internal finance and human resources. Lincoln’s teams were responsible for establishing employee self-service tools integrated with the Microsoft’s ERP system (SAP). Lincoln holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration – Information Systems from the University of Washington.

Lincoln is Managing Director of Global Sales at Luxoft and also is responsible for North America operations. Lincoln joined Luxoft as a result of Luxoft acquiring Radius, an Internet of Things technology company Lincoln co-owned.

Lincoln has over 18 years of experience in enterprise scale information systems projects including six years at Microsoft primarily in the Information Technology Group. While at Microsoft, Lincoln was responsible for line-of-business solutions serving Microsoft internal finance and human resources. As Managing Director Sergey Kuznetsov is responsible for strategic planning and Luxoft business execution in Enterprise and Manufacturing Solutions Line of Business.

Sergey joined Luxoft more than 10 years ago as a software analyst being involved in all aspects of software engineering. Moving fast to project and program manager roles he got promoted to the Boeing Delivery Center Head position in 2008 and six years later, in April of 2014, became Managing Director responsible for Enterprise and Manufacturing Solutions Line of Business.

Sergey has a vast experience in industry specific sales, strategic business development, contracting, budgeting and software delivery management. His carrier path is a great example of the opportunities the Company gives to smart, self-driven and gifted people who are ready to invest their energy and talents in Luxoft future.

Prior to joining Luxoft, Sergey held positions in software development in a number of major international companies based in Germany and USA. Sergey received a master’s degree in physics from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute.

Managing Director, Telecom Solutions

Doru Mardare has more than 15 years of experience in software engineering business for the telecommunications industry. He founded ITC Networks in 2000 with 20 engineers, and in eight years brought the company to the leading position in software development arena in Eastern Europe.

As a Managing Director of ITC Networks, Doru relied on his R&D experience and entrepreneurial talent to attract and retain as customers some of the telecom blue-chip companies like Avaya, and Trapeze Networks.

Doru Mardare has more than 15 years of experience in software engineering business for the telecommunications industry. He founded ITC Networks in 2000 with 20 engineers, and in eight years brought the company to the leading position in software development arena in Eastern Europe.

As a Managing Director of ITC Networks, Doru relied on his R&D experience and entrepreneurial talent to attract and retain as customers some of the telecom blue-chip companies like Avaya, and Trapeze Networks.

Wojciech Mach is managing director of Luxoft Poland. He is responsible for country operations, relationships with key customers and strategic partnerships within the country.

Before joining Luxoft, Mach held several senior positions at Hewlett-Packard Corporation across EMEA and APJ regions, most recently as Operations and Growth Manager for HP Bulgaria Global Hub.

Mach has over 10 years of extensive experience building and managing large delivery business units in the IT services industry as well as creating brand recognition to drive growth in the marketplace.

Vitaliy Nuzhnyy has been working in Luxoft for more than 7 years. He is an admitted expert in outsourcing software development in Eastern Europe, has an extensive experience in building up IT-outsourcing programming centers for corporate customers.

Previously Vitaliy was handling diverse aspects: from personnel development and operational management to delivery. He started his career in the company on the position of Head of UBS Delivery Centre in Kiev, later was promoted to the role of People Development and Operations Director for UBS DC, activated Development Centers in Poland and Romania. In September 2013 Vitaliy Nuzhnyy led Luxoft Ukraine on the position of Managing Director.

Vitaliy got master degree in Computer Systems and Networks, as well as in marketing in the National Technical University “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”. Along with this he completed Executive Program for Growing Companies in Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
