June 2013. Excelian is delighted to announce that it has opened its fourth global delivery centre in New York. The expansion into the North American market comes after the company, with its headquarters in London, UK, successfully established branch offices in Sydney, Australia and Cape Town, South Africa.
Excelian’s New York office will allow the company to extend the strong relationships with their clients in other regions, as well as providing the opportunity to build new partnerships with US-focused firms. Commenting on the expansion of the new office, Jeremy Ward, CEO said "Opening an office in the US is yet another important milestone in the globalization of the firm and will allow us to leverage the successes and fantastic track record achieved in other geographies”.
The new office will be led by Tim Armistead who will oversee new business development, client account management and partnerships with primary vendors. Tim brings with him more than 12 years of experience in financial markets technology and professional services, working previously in both London and New York. Tim joined Excelian in June saying “New York is an obvious and natural extension for Excelian. Many of our clients in Europe and Asia have been keenly anticipating our US expansion and there is also a huge market for new clients who need a pragmatic and committed consulting partner”
