Overview

Parcel delivery process quality and efficiency significantly increased with the development of the “DPD Courier” application by Luxoft.
A mobile application for couriers automates all parcel delivery operations and provides immediate data exchange between the mobile application and back-end systems.

Solution

The client, DPD in Russia, used a system to automate business processes related to delivery orders management, parcels receiving and distribution between couriers. Couriers were provided paper documents listing orders for receipt and delivery. During the day, a delivery manager would call a couriers to provide updates to orders. Delivery results were then entered manually into the system at the end of the day.

Benefit

Luxoft’s solution automated courier activity and made employees’ work more logical and transparent.
