On August 21, 2017, Luxoft and VENN networking events hosted a Wall Street dinner to talk about Luxoft and the Outsourced IT sector from all angles to Enterprise Technology Research members.
The landscape is shifting underneath the feet of IT outsourcers, with traditional revenue streams from commodity services steadily declining. This, coupled with severe pressure from automation, pricing and the increased use of internal data analytics, means IT firms need to start thinking about how they add value to a business.
On Monday, August 21, 2017, Luxoft CEO Dmitry Loschinin and global directors Aaron Lipeles, Alina Plaia and Patrick Corcoran hosted a dinner on Wall Street in conjunction with next-generation events and content platform VENN discussing what changes to the IT outsourcing industry mean for Luxoft. The evening was attended by members of Enterprise Technology Research, with questions covering the importance of diversification to how Luxoft remains agile in times of geopolitical uncertainty.
During the dinner, Dmitry Loschinin explained how service providers like Luxoft that offer deeper technological and industry expertise can gain market share through digital transformations at large corporates.
For Luxoft, financial services regulations like MiFID II and FRTB present opportunities to strengthen the core of their business in the financial sector, whilst the proliferation of autonomous vehicles transforming the Automotive industry and the growth of digital transformation in the healthcare sector also present exciting opportunities to expand the company further.
Of course, differentiation was a key topic at the dinner in New York – particularly when it comes hiring the best talent in the business. As a truly global company, Mr Loschinin highlighted how Luxoft’s effectiveness in its diversity and ability leaves room for its employees to deliver on truly innovative projects.
As a company, Luxoft has little or zero geographical dependency so, not only is there a high ceiling for employees, it also makes for an agile business strategy. For a summary, video and full transcript of what was discussed at the dinner, please click on this link:
