Moscow, New York: August 24, 2010 – Luxoft, a leading global provider of advanced application and product development services, today announced it has been accepted into the vendor roster of the United Nations Procurement Division (UNPD).

The UNPD provides procurement services and business advice to the United Nations (UN) Headquarters, peacekeeping missions, and other UN organizations. UNPD’s customers include a number of UN headquarters departments such as Information and Technology Services Division (ITSD), Facilities Management Service (FMS), the Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO), the Office Away from Headquarters (OAH) and other organizations seeking procurement support services.

In order to do business with the UN, it is necessary to register as a potential supplier with the UN’s Procurement Division. Invitations to tender are sent only to registered vendors. The Procurement Division does business with vendors from all over the world, including developing countries and countries with economies in transition. Part of the UNPD’s mission is to enable companies to execute their missions and achieve their objectives within a fair and transparent commercial partnership provided by the participating vendors.

Having completed the Level 4 vendor registration process, Luxoft is able to compete for contracts estimated at $5 million dollars and above. Luxoft has successfully met the UN’s vendor criteria such as demonstration of sufficient production and export capacity, proof of international scope of operations, and utilization of specific quality control programs.

“We are honored to be included among the companies authorized to work with the United Nations,” said Dmitry Loschinin, president & CEO of Luxoft. “By being accepted into the vendor roster of the UNPD, Luxoft has a greater opportunity to deliver our services to countries around the world, allowing us to reach out to a more diverse audience.”
