New York, NY – April 15, 2011 - Luxoft, a leading global provider of advanced application and product development services, today announced that Jeffrey Osborn has been appointed as global head of its travel and transportation line of business. Mr. Osborn will have global responsibility for all aspects of Luxoft’s Travel and Transportation vertical organization which is largely focused on Airlines, Hotels, Car Rental, Cruise Lines and Travel Distribution entities around the world.
Osborn brings more than 20 years of travel and transportation industry experience to his role at Luxoft. Previously, Osborn served as global sales director - travel and distribution for Travelport. There, he was responsible for growing existing and new business relationships with customers and resellers of Travelport products and services as well as the existing Airline Information Technology Services (AITS) product line. Before that, Osborn was global practice manager for Wipro Technologies, where he directed the firm’s $100 million, 5,000 employee management consulting and technology practices within the Americas. Osborn has also held senior management roles at NIIT Technologies, IBS Software Services, Douglas International Group and many others.
