Luxoft Becomes First CIS Partner OF Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University

Luxoft to Conduct Training, Offer Consulting Services and Perform CMMI® Appraisals

New York & Moscow, March 4, 2008 – Luxoft, a global provider of high-end software application and product development services to clients such as Deutsche Bank, IBM, UBS, T-Mobile, and others, today announced that it has become the only CIS Company to earn the status of partner from Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute (SEI).

Last month, Luxoft announced that it became the first European company to be appraised at the highest process maturity level, known as Level 5, of the latest version of Capability Maturity Model® Integration for Development (CMMI-DEV), a process improvement approach aimed at driving best practices in product and service. Combined with today’s announcement, Luxoft confirms the company’s leadership position in the software development outsourcing industry.

Partnership status allows Luxoft to conduct CMMI® certification training, provide consulting services in the area of CMMI® and perform official CMMI appraisals. Luxoft and SEI plan to promote the CMMI® model in Russia and CIS countries so that Russian-speaking developers will gain access to world’s best practices in software development.

Achieving Level 5 of CMMI® model allows Russian service providers speak the same language with their foreign clients, effectively execute complex software development project, and deliver the highest quality software products within specified deadlines.
