Global Outsourcing Leader Luxoft Celebrates First Anniversary of Thriving Vancouver, B.C. Office

Demand for Nearshore Software Development, Agile Expertise and Software Performance Testing Drives Triple Digit Q3 Growth

Vancouver & Moscow, January 8, 2007 —  Luxoft, a global provider of high-end IT outsourcing services to clients such as Boeing, Deutsche Bank, IBM, Dell, UBS,
T-Mobile, Alcatel, and Areva, today announced 123 percent revenue growth in Q3 FY07 (ending December 2007) for its Vancouver, British Columbia office which celebrates its first anniversary this month.

The success of Luxoft Canada during its inaugural year is the result of its deep expertise in the distributed Agile development process, proven company-wide engagement management excellence, and the ability to provide nearshore efficiency for North American clients while also offering rapid scalability through access to deep resource pools across Luxoft’s global locations – particularly Russia and the Ukraine.

Luxoft Canada’s clients are located both in Canada and the U.S. and come from many industries including e-commerce, mining, industrial automation, eLearning and software.

“The response to our services has been fantastic,” said Stephen Michaud, General Manager, Luxoft Canada. “We are thrilled to be part of the thriving Vancouver technology community and are working with very sophisticated, dynamic and fast moving clients who are looking for a partner to help them do high-end and innovative work that reinvents their business processes.”

In addition to its distributed Agile expertise, Luxoft Canada is also home to the company’s global Software Performance Practice. Once completely the purview of in-house teams, software performance testing has been increasingly making its way onto the outsourcing scene and Luxoft is taking a leadership role in helping its clients maximize the performance of their applications and systems.  This includes everything from offering services for performance measurement, testing and troubleshooting  to managing system performance engineering and regression testing efficiency, and even mentoring clients’ in-house performance teams.

Elastic Path, a Vancouver-based e-commerce software and service provider, is one of Luxoft Canada’s key clients in the software development and performance testing area.

“We were looking for an outsourcing player that could deliver a wide range of skills quickly and flexibly and that understood the “business” of software product development,” said Gordon Janzen, COO of Elastic Path. “After an extensive evaluation process, we chose Luxoft for its experience, breadth of skills and pilot project performance.  Luxoft has really delivered on its promises and we look forward to our continued partnership with the company.”

To support the steady growth in client demand, Luxoft Canada has grown to 20 employees and plans to more than double that number in 2008.The company is also looking to potentially expand into other Canadian cities.

As exciting as the Canadian growth has been, it is only part of Luxoft’s overall continued strong performance as a global company. Luxoft is continuing to see rapid expansion as a company and with client growth in EMEA, particularly in Eastern Europe and Germany.
