Zug, Switzerland, Jan 5, 2023 - Luxoft, a DXC Technology Company (NYSE:DXC), announced today their collaboration with Microsoft in joining the Connected Fleets initiative — an ecosystem of composable partner solutions that accelerate value derived from vehicle data. The ecosystem uses analytics, geophysical and back-office technologies to efficiently manage vehicles and fleets. Luxoft’s participation will further strengthen its ability to deliver high value and accelerate the transformation of software-defined vehicles for its automotive clients.
The Connected Fleets program creates an interconnected ecosystem of partners and partner solutions, facilitated by a new reference architecture and framework. This enables multiple partners to integrate their respective solutions with each other, and to make use of common architecture, data models and business application services offered by the Microsoft Cloud.
Luxoft, as a full-service technology partner providing strategic advice, solution design and delivery excellence, together with the Microsoft Connected Fleets architecture, can facilitate the integration of fleet management solutions with connected vehicles and their data. As a result, clients will benefit from accelerated time to market, increased business agility, a flexible ecosystem and composable solutions. With today’s announcement, Luxoft expands its solution toolset with valuable new options, as well as an extensive set of platform capabilities delivered by Microsoft Azure and Azure IoT.
“Thanks to joining Microsoft Connected Fleets, we’re able to provide our clients with multiple solution elements that can be composed to drive value more quickly and efficiently, resulting in a strong focus on business-driven innovation for software-defined vehicles.” commented Ronny Kraehe, Vice President, Connected Mobility Solutions, Luxoft.
“We look forward to working with Luxoft to help bring enhanced solutions to the Connected Fleets marketplace. The growing connected vehicle, fleet and mobility market is looking out for next-generation solutions that fit a digitally transformed world,” said Sanjay Ravi, General Manager, Automotive, Mobility and Transportation at Microsoft. “Our goal is to build a partner ecosystem and enable partner solutions that will align data and functional assets to accelerate the development of nimble, right-sized solutions that allow customers to realize more capability and value.”
