Luxoft will host its guests at the Company’s showcase booth and its automotive and telematics subject matter experts will participate in panel discussions. The Company will demonstrate several technologies, including:
- AllView – a reference design platform for creating an in-vehicle user experience (UX)
- Populus – a complete tool chain for human machine interface (HMI) design, development and the deployment of automotive user interfaces (UI) for distributed embedded systems
- Computer Vision and Augmented Reality Solution – a software framework optimized for embedded hardware that helps implement a wide range of in-car Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) functionality quickly and cost-efficiently. The feature-rich and robust solution encompasses road recognition, vehicles detection and tracking, and a single camera-based egomotion engine. It also implements seamless navigation integration, and maps and sensor data fusion. The framework augments drivers' visual reality with supplementary objects in real time, and works with various output devices such as head unit displays, digital clusters, head-up and optical head-mounted displays.
Additionally, Luxoft’s Global Business Development Director of Automotive, Serkan Arslan, will lead a presentation, “Riding the Digital Transformation Wave to Power a Unique Brand and User Experience.” This presentation will focus on the digital transformation taking place in the automotive industry. Cloud computing and the Internet of Things (IoT) take complexity to the next level, while consumer electronic devices set the bar for the user experience; autonomous driving is quickly becoming a reality. Lastly, Luxoft’s Senior Program Manager for Internet of Things (IoT), Jim Darrin, will participate in a panel titled “Wearables to Disrupt Status Quo of Infotainment.” The panel will explore the ways in which the wide adoption of smartwatches and Virtual Reality kits will cause a shake-up to the traditional HMI of the vehicle. The situation becomes even more interesting if the usual access via the phone is removed and embedded features are reached through voice controls. Darrin will be joined by panel members from Panasonic Automotive and ABI Research.
