ISO 9001:2008 Certification
Moscow, New York, April 20, 2009 — Luxoft, a global provider of high-end application and product development services, has successfully passed the renewal audit for ISO 9001:2008 standard certification. The audit was compiled by Lloyd Register Quality Assurance — a leading global business assurance provider and market leader in delivering quality assessments. In addition to previously certified company’s software development and support processes, the new certification covers Luxoft’s consulting services branch.
ISO 9001 is a standard defining corporate Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. Certification to ISO 9001 creates a systematic framework in which organizations drive continual improvement. One of the certification’s major strengths is its wider appeal for all types of organizations. Its focus on processes and customer satisfaction rather than procedures means it is equally applicable to service providers as well as manufacturers.
