Luxoft, a DXC Technology company, fully condemns Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and stands in unity with everyone around the world that is calling for an immediate end to this violence. As a direct result of this tragic war which is causing the death, injury, and displacement of innocent civilians across Ukraine and beyond, Luxoft has decided to exit the Russian market.

Our company’s beginnings were based on the talent of Russian software engineers which rank among the best in the world. However, we are an international organization, and our Ukrainian family are an integral part of our success and identity as a company. Therefore, we are left with no choice but to cease operations in Russia. We will continue to assess the rapidly evolving situation and will take measures to minimize the impact on our colleagues and customers.

Furthermore, we are doing everything we can to support those affected by this tragedy. Luxoft is providing a relief package worth millions of USD in direct support of our Ukraine-based employees and their families. A further $330,000 (10 000 000 UAH) will be donated to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society to support its relief efforts for the civilian population of Ukraine.

Luxoft CEO Dmitry Loschinin commented: “We strongly oppose the war in Ukraine and stand by those who are suffering as a result. We are doing everything we can to help our Ukraine colleagues, their families and their communities. We hope this contribution will bring some relief to some of those affected. We call on other companies to do the same so that together we reach as many people as possible during this humanitarian crisis.”

Our aid does not stop there. As a company and as people, we are doing everything in our power to ensure the physical safety and job security of our Ukrainian employees and their families:

  • Our global teams are working 24/7 to provide information, transportation, accommodation and all possible support to our people in Ukraine.
  • Our employees in Poland, Bulgaria, and Romania are constantly helping our colleagues cross the border, find accommodation, and settle in their respective countries.
  • We have established 24/7 support hotlines to assist with relocation, accommodation and general safety questions.
  • Luxofters from multiple locations are supporting our Ukrainian colleagues as volunteers.

Additionally, we have established a fundraising campaign so that our people and partners can make donations to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society as well as to our colleagues from Luxoft and DXC: redcross.org/donate/cm/dxctechnology-emp.html/
